Mickey arrived middle of January 2005 in the yard, to say he was not a well looking horse was an understatement.

His coat was course and very dull, he had bald patches and his numnah had rubbed him, he had severe mud fever on all four legs, deep cracks and very dehydrated.

Due to the dehydration he was unable to eat very much, and to try and get him to drink was practically impossible drinking on average about 3 gallons of water a day.

After two weeks I was recommended the aquiline performance patches, I am convinced that these patches were the saving of this big 17.2" hunter.

We gave Mickey a 12 day course of patches, within 3 days, Mickey's water intake had increased to approx 5 gallons a day, which in turn had enabled the boy to eat a little more. With in 10 days this horse had increased his water intake "to 9 Gallons a day his appetite had improved back to that of a normal horse his size. His coat had started to get softer and the mud fever had completely gone.

One of the most impressive things was that he could manage his work without tiring normally after 20 minutes Light work he would be exhausted

Six months down the line he is a picture of health and so happy.

No longer the depressed dull thin horse that came to us, His recovery was thanks to the patches. This I am positive of.

"It was suggested to me that I should try Equiwinner performance patches as one of my eventers never sweated or drank at events. I used the patches as per the instructions and am very happy to say he is sweating well and also drinking more water at events and seems much perkier.

I also tried the Equiwinner performance patches on an old thoroughbred, this horse looked like it was lathered in soap after events or out Hunting. Now he does
not lather up nearly as much.

So having been fairly unsure, I have to admit that I shall be
continuing to use the patches in the future.

Many thanks for your help".
